Laying Instructions

Before starting to lay the material, take care that the sub floor is even, dry, clean and pressure resistant. 3mm Premium Red Vapour seal should be rolled onto the floor parallel to the wall with vapour barrier side down and at right angles to the direction in which you plan to lay the floor covering. It can be trimmed with a cutter or sharp knife. Joints must be overlapped and taped down using the full width of the vapour barrier border. Extend the moisture barrier up the walls behind the skirting. When the whole room has been laid, the intended floor covering (laminate, cork, prefabricated parquet etc.) can be laid on top.
